Member Opportunities

Board of Directors

If you have a passion for enhancing lives, bettering our communities and want to play a part in driving the strategic direction of our organization, you could be our next board member. If elected, you will play a part in ensuring the financial sustainability of our organization. Experience is not required.

Supervisory Committee

Our Supervisory Committee monitors the financial health of our organization. The committee works carefully with our Compliance department to ensure audits are appropriately conducted. Members of the Supervisory Committee are selected by the Board of Directors and meet on a monthly basis.

Associate Directors

Associate Directors are part of the Credit Union’s succession planning, which allows them to learn about the business of financial services. There is no long-term commitment required. You can conveniently apply to become one of our Associate Directors with our online application, below.

¹Please note, you must be a Credit Union West member to participate. Not yet a member? All who live, work or worship in Apache, Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pima, Pinal, Yavapai or Yuma county are eligible to join. We also invite family of any current member of Credit Union West to become a member.

²Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee Compensation Schedule: As permitted by law and the credit union’s bylaws, Credit Union West provides reasonable compensation to the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members for their service to the credit union. An annual stipend is payable in monthly installments in recognition of the education and time requirements that are necessary and expected of Board members who set the strategic direction of and provide general oversight of the credit union, and Supervisory Committee members who provide oversight regarding the safety and soundness of the credit union.
