To qualify for the 0% APR Personal Loan, you must be a Credit Union West member in good standing and fall within one of the following criteria:
- Must be a disaster survivor located in a FEMA’s declared disaster area, or
- A U.S. federal worker or U.S. military personnel experiencing income disruption from their federal employer during a government shutdown

1In order to qualify, all loans and accounts must be current and in good standing at the time we receive your request, your membership account must be opened for 6 months or more, and you must be (1) a disaster survivor located in a FEMA’s declared disaster area, or (2) a U.S. federal worker or military personnel experiencing income disruption from a federal employer during a government shutdown. Certain restrictions apply. Subject to credit qualifications and performance. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) based on credit history, term and performance. Programs subject to change without notice.
290 Days No Payment option will extend your loan by three (3) months and finance charges will accrue on unpaid principal.
3A skip a payment fee will be processed per the Credit Union’s Fee Schedule, for each skip a payment request. If you have more than one qualifying loan you may request to skip a payment on each loan. In order to skip your payment, all loans and accounts must be current and in good standing at the time we receive your request, and your loan must have opened more than 6 months ago. The deferral of loan payments pursuant to this agreement will automatically extend the loan maturity date by a corresponding period of time. Deferral of payments will reduce the portion of future payments applied to principal resulting in a larger final payment, or negative amortization. Interest will continue to accrue on your loan as it normally does. The number of skip a payments in a rolling 12-month period is limited to a maximum established by the credit union and may be subject to change. Certain restrictions apply and not all loans are eligible for this program. In some instances, it may be required that the member authorize having a credit bureau pulled for review. Subject to credit qualifications and performance. Program subject to change.
4 There is a one-time Extension processing fee for each Loan Extension per the Credit Union’s Fee Schedule; however, this fee will be waived for those who qualify for the Financial Relief Program. Processing fee will be returned to anyone not eligible to participate in this program. The deferral of loan payments pursuant to this agreement will automatically extend the loan maturity date by a corresponding period of time. Deferral of payments will reduce the portion of future payments applied to principal resulting in a larger final payment, or negative amortization. Interest will continue to accrue on your loan as it normally does. Certain restrictions apply and not all loans are eligible for this program. In some instances, it may be required that the member authorize having a credit bureau pulled for review. Program subject to change.
