At Credit Union West, we believe that the youth in our community is our future. That’s why we are so proud to be the main sponsor of the 2023 Glendale Community College Innovation Challenge. The challenge allows GCC students to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges for one of three cash prizes to help them launch their businesses.

How to Attend the Innovation Challenge and Financial Workshop
To enter the pre-selection phase, GCC students may enroll in the Innovation Challenge Canvas course and submit a 5‑minute pitch video by January 31st, at 5 p.m.
The GCC Innovation Challenge Workshop will take place on Friday, January 27th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Maria R. Brunner, our Business Development representative, will present a Financial Success presentation at the Innovation Challenge Financial Workshop for GCC students to learn the basics of money management. Additional Credit Union West representatives will also attend the event to greet students, answer questions and hand out promotional items. To attend, please RSVP online.
The final competition will take place on Thursday, February 16th from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The top three winners will be awarded cash prizes totaling $5,000 from Credit Union West and given the opportunity to apply for the 'Big Pitch' for another shot at $25,000! This event is open to the public. Register to attend and support the five finalists!
