Grants & Support
The CU West CARES Charitable Foundation is a non-profit that supports local organizations and front-line heroes through charitable contributions, grants, and programs. Non-profit organizations may apply to receive a one-time grant, financial education, or volunteer helpers through the application below.
Requesting organizations must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit with an office located in Arizona that align with one of our four key pillars. Applications should be submitted by an authorized representative of the organization at least 90 days before the requested support is needed. Submission of an application does not guarantee that support will be provided.

Community Heroes
The CU West Cares Charitable Foundation honors our front-line heroes who make our communities safe, secure, and informed by supporting programs that provide critical resources and assistance to active-duty military and veterans, first responders and essential workers, and teachers.
Education of All Ages
We support thriving futures for people of all ages by supporting education at every level. From education scholarships to community education programs, we know that access to education helps individuals build better futures.
Human Health & Wellness
To help build healthy communities, we advocate for the development of overall human health and wellness. By investing in key programs and initiatives, we support community infrastructure that enhances individuals’ quality of life.

We provide financial and volunteer support that enhances the lives of people in distressed and underserved communities. Through collaboration with other organizations, we’re championing stronger, more resilient communities where all individuals can thrive.
