The CU West CARES Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of Credit Union West, supports initiatives in four key pillars. Our four key pillars include:
- Honoring front-line heroes who make our communities safe, secure, and informed.
- Supporting education to provide thriving futures for people of all ages.
- Advocating the development of overall human health and wellness.
- Enhancing the lives of people in distressed and underserved communities.
Under these pillars, we give back through sponsorships and meaningful programs that enhance the quality of life for individuals in local communities.

Our Community Programs
Financial Literacy & Education
With support from the CU West CARES Charitable Foundation, Credit Union West employees proudly provide financial literacy resources and education courses to members and local communities. This free financial outreach program offers accessible financial education on various topics, including understanding a credit score, building a budget, vehicle buying tips, money management, and teaching youth about managing their finances.
EmployeesCARE
The EmployeesCARE Program empowers Credit Union West employees to raise funds for a nonprofit of their choosing each quarter. Their generous donations support organizations and activities across Arizona that offer individual advancement through education, health services and more.
Scholarship Program
The CU West CARES Foundation values education as a key pillar of economic success and quality of life for individuals. We offer annual scholarships to five Arizona high school seniors who plan to pursue a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited trade school, college, or university. The scholarship is offered on an annual basis.
